Sejarah Kawan Lama dimulai pada tahun 1955 ketika almarhum Mr. Wong
Jin (†) mendirikan toko perkakas sederhana berukuran 2x3 meter di
Kawasan Glodok,
Jakarta. Terus berkembang mulai periode 1970-an, bisnis keluarga ini
menerapkan pendekatan yang lebih personal kepada para pelanggannya.
Tidak hanya menunggu pelanggan datang tetapi langsung mendatangi mereka.
Hubungan langsung dengan para principal di berbagai negara terus
dibangun.
Tahun 1980, generasi kedua keluarga Wong Jin memformalkan usahanya
dengan nama PT Kawan Lama Sejahtera. Tahun 1982-1990 merupakan era
ekspansi besar-besaran dengan mengembangkan jaringan distribusi ke
berbagai wilayah di Indonesia.
Beberapa anak perusahaan didirikan dengan spesialisasi memasok dan
melayani kebutuhan-kebutuhan pasar yang sifatnya khusus. Toko pun pindah
ke pusat pertokoan empat lantai di Glodok Jaya yang nyaman, dengan
konsep one stop shopping.
Organization Development Manager (ODM)
- Male/Female, Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Public Administration, Business Administration or a related field, max. 45 years old
- Have minimum 5 years of Human Resources and or Organizational Development experience.
- Must be a perceptive person, capable of relating to individuals at all levels, as well be sensitive to corporate needs, and employee goodwill.
- Will have to formulates OD strategies, assists with the design, development and roll-out of organization development projects and programs and helps ensure the successful implementation of such projects and assignments. Including the development and implementation of staffing plans, the development and performance management training programs.
Training Manager (TM)
- Male/Female, Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Management or a related field, max. 45 years old
- Have minimum 5 years experience in Training Departement
- Must be a self driven person, capable of relating to individuals at all levels, good planning and organizational skills
- Will have to identify training needs and manage/coordinate, deliver and monitor training programmes for all staff.
Compensation Benefit Manager ( Comben)
- Male/Female, Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Management or a related field, max. 45 years old
- Have minimum 5 years experience in Comben Departement
- Must be confident about gathering facts and statistics and making financial calculations
- Good communication skill, organizing skills and be able to develop plans, policies and forecast
- Will have to develop, implement and administer organization rewards and benefit policies. This includes salaries and bonuses, together with employee benefits such as pensions. Also have to responsible for life assurance, profit-sharing, company cars and medical insurance, relocation and expatriate packages.
Human Capital Officer (HCO)
- Male/Female, Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, max. 27 years
- Have experience as Human Capital Officer min. 2 years experience
- Must be a self driven person, capable of relating to individuals at all levels, good planning and organizational skills
- Will have to provide, support in the various human resource functions, which include recruitment, staffing, training and development, performance monitoring and employee counseling.
